Arusha National Park is a remarkable park nestled close to Arusha city just 25km drive from Arusha clock tower, with a rewarding game wildlife safari experience, nature walking, canoeing to momela lake, climb to Mt Meru, horse riding and bird watching experiences.
Arusha National Park host several attractions to explore such as Momela lakes, Tululusia waterfall, Ngurdoto Crater and Mount Meru which is the Second highest mountain in Tanzania. There are abundance of wildlife include zebras, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, bushback, waterbuck, baboons, black and white colobus monkey and several bird species include flamingoes.
The park offers game viewing experience, canoeing to Momela Lake, Walking safari, horse riding and bird watching include pink flamingoes to momela lakes depending the time of the year. Other activities include Mount Meru climbing for the acclimatization.
Game Drives

With several small soda lakes nestled to the park the large one known as Big Momela Lake is dedicated for canoeing activity. Big Momela Lake host hippos and aquatic birds to spot during the canoeing adventure.
Mount Meru Climbing
Standing 4,566m Mount Meru is Tanzania’s second highest mountain located in Arusha National Park. The climb takes 3 to 4 days and it is accessible all year round but mostly from January to March and June to October when it is not rainy season.
