Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is a remarkable wildlife park on the slopes of Mount Meru around 25km from Arusha city center (clock tower) offering a rewarding game drive experience, walking safari, canoeing to the Big momela lake, climbing Mount Meru, horse ride and bird watching.

Arusha National Park host several attractions to explore such as Momela lakes, Tululusia waterfalls, Ngurdoto Crater and Mount Meru which is the Second highest mountain in Tanzania. There are abundance of wildlife include zebras, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, bush back, water buck, baboons, black and white colobus monkey and several bird species include flamingos.

The park offers game viewing experience, canoeing to Momela Lake, Walking safari, horse riding and bird watching include pink flamingos to Momela lakes depending the time of the year. Other activities include Trekking to Mount Meru which takes around 3 days suitable for acclimatization.

Game Drives

Explore the attractions of Arusha National Park such as wild animals, forest vegetation’s, soda lakes, volcanic crater through game drive. You can spot wild animals such as zebras, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes and other wild animals.

Walking Safaris

A guided walking safari under escort of armed ranger lead you through a designated trail that cross open area full of wild animals and then reach a beautiful waterfall of Tululusia.

Canoeing

With several small soda lakes nestled to the park the large one known as Big Momela Lake is dedicated for canoeing activity. Big Momela Lake host hippos and aquatic birds to spot during canoeing experience.

Mt Meru Climb

Mount Meru 4,566m is Tanzania’s second highest mountain located in Arusha National Park. Climb takes 3 to 4 days and it is accessible all year round but mostly from January to March and June to October when it is not rainy season.
